Full Tilt Poker has just unveiled an original informative site covering all the information of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an amazing online heads up challenge involving some of the finest high stakes poker players challenging the poker sensation Tom “durrrr” Dwan.
The new website section offers online poker players and followers the opportunity to track this amazing Full Tilt Poker Challenge and check out timely challenge details. With this innovative “durrrr Challenge” website poker players can track all the action and review each hand played during the challenge, and look at lots of statistical information, including how many hands were played, time of session, amount won, average won during each hand and much more.
About six months ago, the 23 year old internet poker pro delivered a heads-up challenge open to any poker player with the loot, time and talent to accept it. Any poker pro entering the challenge has to bet $500,000 against durrrr’s $1.5 million. Tom’s challenge specifies that a minimum 50,000 hands need to be played simultaneously at 4 or more tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the heads up challenge, the poker player who has more money will earn the pool. In essence if you enter the Full Tilt Challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 hands, then you will win Tom’s $1.5 Million, but if he triumphs by $1 then he will win your $500,000.
So far, a number of professional poker players have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including seven-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, though, only Patrick Antonius has said yes to the poker challenge. Thus far, both poker pros have completed in a total of 20,647 hands out of 50,000, with Dwan leading the count $726,546 total.
